Gacha's homeland, Japan — half the top 15 is now Western survival
FGO and Hololive hold the chart, but Whiteout and Royal Match are breaking in — and the globally-hot Zenless isn't in the top 15.
Count Japan's top 15 grossing and it splits exactly in half. Domestic gacha and character IP: six. Western casual and survival: six. In gacha's home turf.
The top is still a castle of anime and character IP. Fate/Grand Order (#2), Monster Strike (#3), Hololive Dreams (#5), Puzzle & Dragons (#7) — names you won't see on Western charts hold up revenue here.
Western casual and survival are no longer the fringe. Led by Whiteout Survival (#6), six titles — Gossip Harbor, Royal Match, Last War, Kingshot, Puzzle & Survival — stand shoulder to shoulder with domestic gacha.

Yet the world's #1 gacha isn't here
Last week's globally hottest game, Zenless Zone Zero. Genshin and Star Rail too — all three HoYoverse titles are absent from Japan's top 15 grossing. Heat up the world with review inflow all you like; in Japan it's domestic IP like FGO and Monster Strike that opens the wallet. Attention rank and revenue rank drift apart at every border.
A new launch straight to the money — Suikoden Star Leap
KONAMI's revived JRPG Suikoden (Genso Suikoden) STAR LEAP is #2 top free and already #8 grossing — monetizing at launch. New gacha Arknights: Endfield (#13) also entered the grossing chart, a sign Japan still opens its wallet for both proven IP and new gacha.
