Zero gacha in the US top 15 — it's all match, merge and survival
Monopoly Go, Royal Match and Candy Crush take the money. Genshin and FGO are nowhere on this chart.
Scan the US top 15 grossing and there is not a single gacha. The games this site covers — Genshin, Arknights, Star Rail — leave no trace. What opens wallets instead is Royal Match, Candy Crush, Monopoly Go: all casual.
The shape is plain. Match-3 and puzzle make up six, survival and 4X three, merge two. The rest are board (Monopoly Go), AR (Pokémon GO) and battle royale (Free Fire).
A handful of casual studios split the chart. Dream Games has two (Royal Match #2, Royal Kingdom #5), Century Games three (Kingshot, Whiteout, Tasty Travels), Peak two (Toon Blast, Match Factory). It looks varied, but players are spinning the same companies' different puzzles.

The one exception is IP — Pokémon GO
The only thing you'd call “character IP” in the 15 is Pokémon GO (#8), and even that is location-based collecting, not gacha. Same App Store, but a completely different market from Japan, where anime RPGs and character gacha make the money.
